Ingredients:
1 head cabbage, (about ½ kilo)
¼ k beef ground,
¼ k pork, ground
1 onion, minced
1 ½ tsps. salt
¼ tsp. pepper
¼ tsp. oregano
½ c. rice (raw) optional
1 c. tomato sauce or 1 c. fresh tomatoes, chopped
Boil cabbage for 5 minutes. Remove from water and separate leaves. Mix remaining ingredients together, except tomatoes. Stuff leaves with filling and roll. Fasten with toothpick. Arrange in a saucepan. Pour tomatoes, cover and simmer about 1 ½ hours.
